Custom Commision

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can you Create artwork of…?

To date I’ve captured landscapes, large murals, wedding venues, engagement proposals, family portraits, pets and more in various art mediums. While my speciality is in illustrating cities and architectural landmarks, I’m open to taking commissions and most requests.

Factors influencing cost is determined by detail, scale and duration of every project.

Once we discuss your budget, preferred art style, deadline and any photo references, I can provide a quote and may draft concept sketches prior to starting the final piece.

How much do you sell it for?

I charge $40 per hour as a framework to gauge pricing, however, each piece is priced according to its complexity and unique specificity.

Internationally created pieces, for example, may be priced higher due to additional effort and travel required.

While I feel originals mainly at art fairs and markets where they can be properly displayed and protected, I typically only carry prints during daily operations around NYC due to practicality and ease of transport.

How long does that take?

Detailed and fine line drawings measuring 22” x 30” can take upwards to two weeks, or around 80 hours, to complete.

Smaller sketches, which require less precision and planning can be finished in 1-3 days, or even within a window of a few hours.

For either, the process is usually divided into shorter sessions spanning from 4–5 hours at a time, then returning to the same location or resuming the project on a later day.

Do you do this full time?

Yes, however the actual act of drawing is only one part of my job–I wish it was more!

I keep busy scaling my business through marketing and email outreach, designing new products, administering sales, editing on social media, creating content and teaching–all essential and integral parts of my work.

What is a limited edition print?

Limited edition prints are high-quality reproductions of my artwork produced in finite quantities and art part of a larger theme and consistent body of work, reflective of a particular time, place or style.

This involves a labor intensive process, including individually hand-signing, numbering, labeling and embossing each piece to certify its authenticity.

My open edition prints, in contrast, are produced without the same level of exclusivity and thus more affordable.

Once a limited edition print sells out, it will never be reprinted, preserving its rarity and ensuring its long-term value for collectors.
